Debbie attended the University of Arkansas. She holds a BA in Advertising/Marketing and has been a sales professional since 1994. She is a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock and The Junior League of Little Rock. Her husband, Michael, works for a member of the United States Senate. They have two children.
